5 branches, one sports festival: Uzpromstroybank staff in the Zomin mountains

To mark the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, we organised a two-day retreat and sports competitions in the Zomin mountains for more than 300 employees of five Uzpromstroybank branches — Tashkent City, Rakat, Olmazor, Bukhara and Navoi.

Corporate trips, team retreats and sports competitions are our specialty. That is why we plan and run every stage of these events ourselves.

The brief

Bring five teams from three cities to Zomin on the same day and at the same time, accommodate everyone and unite them in one programme.

The scale

To host this many guests, we booked three hotels at once — Tryp by Wyndham Zomin, Ramada Encore by Wyndham and Zomin Suffa.

The event was so big that three hotels’ grounds were not enough — for the main programme and competitions we also brought in an additional venue at BNB Zafaron hotel.

Every participant received a matching T-shirt, and to capture the full scale of the event we also arranged drone filming.

The sports day

At the resort we held staff competitions in four disciplines: draughts, darts, tug-of-war and fun relay races. Winners received diplomas and trophies.

What matters most to us — our guests’ mood

For two days our team took care of every detail: who rides which coach, who stays in which room, when the competitions start — everything was planned in advance. The staff left work worries behind, rested in the mountain air, competed with each other and celebrated their wins together. Our guests went home happy — there is no higher praise for us.
