Programme
Day 1 — Arrival in Tashkent
Arrival in Tashkent, transfer, check-in. Evening walk: Amir Temur Square. Overnight Tashkent.
Day 2 — Tashkent
Hazrati Imam complex — Barak-Khan madrasah, Tilla-Sheikh mosque, the Uthman Quran. Chorsu Bazaar. Lunch. Museum of Applied Arts. Metro: Kosmonavtlar, Alisher Navoi, Pakhtakor. Overnight Tashkent.
Day 3 — Tashkent → Samarkand
Morning Afrosiyob to Samarkand (~2h). Check-in. Gur-e-Amir. Lunch. Registan. Illuminated square in the evening. Overnight Samarkand.
Day 4 — Samarkand
Shah-i-Zinda. Bibi-Khanym. Siyob Bazaar. Lunch. Ulugbek Observatory, Afrasiab Museum. Silk paper workshop in Konigil. Overnight Samarkand.
Day 5 — Samarkand → Bukhara
Morning train to Bukhara (~1h30). Check-in at an old-town guesthouse. Lunch. Lyabi-Hauz, Nadir Divan-Begi, Magoki-Attori. Trading domes. Poi-Kalon at sunset. Overnight Bukhara.
Day 6 — Bukhara
Ark Fortress, Bolo-Hauz. Ismail Samani Mausoleum, Chashma-Ayub. Lunch. Sitorai Mohi-Xosa. Bahouddin Naqshbandi memorial. Overnight Bukhara.
Day 7 — Bukhara → Khiva
Early departure across the Kyzylkum desert (~7h by road). Stop at the Amu Darya. Arrival in Khiva, check-in inside Ichan-Kala. Evening walk through the walled city, sunset. Overnight Khiva.
Day 8 — Khiva → Tashkent
Ichan-Kala — Kalta Minor, Juma Mosque, Kunya-Ark, Tash-Hauli Palace, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum. Lunch. Transfer to Urgench, flight or train to Tashkent, airport transfer.
